AMADOR COUNTY LIBRARY PRESENTS an evening with Historians JoAnn Levy, Carolyn Fregulia and Jim Norris on Thursday, May 22, 2014 5:30 pm, Amador County Library 530 Sutter St. Jackson. Come explore our local history with our distinguished panel of historians. This is a rare opportunity to have all three together. They will give a little background as to what they have researched, written and discovered, then they will be open for discussion and answering your questions.
Jim is a member of the Amador Historical Society. Along with his wife Lynne, their publishing company published over sixty books and pamphlets on the history of the Central California Coast.
JoAnn is an author of books that focus on the roles women played during the California Gold Rush.
Carolyn is an author of books on the Italian Pioneers in gold country, logging in gold country and the Volcano Cemetery and the early history of these people.
